We will meet at the north entrance to Turtle Lake Park on 46th for an herbal plant walk. We’ll walk the trails of the marsh, lake, field and forest to identify and discuss the edible and medicinal varieties of native plants in the park. This will be for informational purposes and discussion. We will not be foraging. Varieties include cattail, nettle, burdock, motherwort, wild geranium, elderberry, sumac and wild grape.
